It’s been a long rocky road for us to reach this point. I just want to take a minute to thank everyone for your prayers and kind words; this project has been 15 years in the making and is now only weeks away from being a reality, THANK YOU!! Sorry it has been so long since I’ve emailed a progress report, in fact you probably would have guessed we would have finished the entire film and you would be looking for it at the local Christian bookstore or Wal-Mart by now. Well we had a major set-back which was the arrival of a very special digital camera called the Red One. It was due in late November but due to the fact that this is a new technology the hold up was a technical one. However the camera arrived on February 12th and it was well worth the wait! Unfortunately the delay has put a dent in our Easter release plan. Even though this story is designed as an outreach piece it is also a perfect fit for Easter. Well this turn of events may not fit into our plans but we know it fit’s into God’s plan and we ask for your prayers that our efforts over the next few weeks will be guided and directed by God. Because of the delay we have also run into the edge of our contingency funds and will be running on fumes, we also ask for your prayers in this area. Having said that let me just say this is an exciting time! This will be one of the first films shot with a digital camera that delivers better quality than 35mm film (in history)!! Yes I said history! We are so excited because this is an opportunity for our film to be viewed by secular film makers and viewers simply because they want to see the results of this camera! What a privilege! God is so awesome and this is just one of many things we hadn’t planned on that was in His plan all along! We hope to have a local screening of the film at possibly the Mayfair or Carmike cinemas. We will inform you of the time date and as soon as we can and ask that you bring as many people as you can to view it. Your feedback and response is very valuable to us.
